Refreshing Drink Recipes 

 As the sun stretches its warm fingers across the sky and the air shimmers with the promise of lazy afternoons, there's no better time to indulge in the art of summer refreshment. From the classic to the creative, these drink recipes are sure to elevate your summer gatherings and keep you cool in the sweltering heat.


Mint Margarita

Mint Margarita – A refreshing drink with a bit of lemon soda fused with mint leaves. So perfect for the Summers!




   INGRIDIENTS

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3-4 Sprigs of Mint (or More)
  • 3 Lemons (Juice)
  • 3-4 Cups Ice cubes
  • 1 Cup 7up Lime or Sprite (250ml)

Instructions:

  • Add the sugar, water, salt, sprigs of mint, lemon juice and ice cubes to a blender. Pulse a few times till the ice is completely crushed
  • Fill each glass with half of 7up/sprite and pour the mint mixture over till the glass is full.Garnish with a slice of lemon the rim of the glass or with mint leaves. Serve immediately.





Notes

Prepare the drink just before serving, or the crushed ice will melt if made way in advance You can prepare the mint mixture in advance and add ice to it and blend before serving.

Strawberry Limeade

This strawberry limeade is perfectly sweet and tart, and very refreshing drink for summer.


  INGRIDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 lb sliced strawberries
  • 20-30 mint leaves
  • cups cold water

 Instructions:

  • To make the simple syrup, combine the sugar and water in a saucepan, and cook over medium high heat for 5-10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid is clear.
  • In a large mason jar or a pitcher, combine the lime juice, simple syrup, strawberries, mint, and water. Let sit in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Serve and enjoy!
  • PEACH MARGARITA

  • This fresh peach margarita recipe is sweet, simple to make, and so satisfying!


  • Ingridients

  • 1/3 cup fresh peach puree 
  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1.5 ounces lime juice
  • 1 ounce Triple Sec (or freshly-squeeze orange juice to make it lighter)
  • 1 Tablespoon agave or honey
  • optional garish: rim salt and fresh peach slice
Instructions:
  1. Add all ingredients together in a shaker. Shake for 15 seconds until combined. Serve over ice in a glass that has been rimmed with salt and garnished with a fresh peach slice.
  2. To make fresh peach puree, simply peel and pit a fresh peach and puree it in a blender until smooth. 1 medium peach = approximately 1/2 cup puree (but measure to be sure).
